CVE-2026-82597Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unvalidated USSD input

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Command injection in TOTOLINK NR1800X firmware 9.1.0u.6681_B20230703 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The setUssd handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi inserts the unvalidated ussd parameter into a double-quoted command passed to system(). A valid management cookie is required, and crafted input must preserve the surrounding quote syntax; successful exploitation runs commands in the router firmware context.
