Denial of service in Gil Tene LatencyUtils 2.0.0 through 2.0.3 allows local users to stop pause processing via an oversized detected pause. LatencyStats.recordDetectedPause passes a pause duration above highestTrackableLatency to an AtomicHistogram, causing an uncaught ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. The exception terminates the PauseDetector dispatch thread, so the host application continues without subsequent pause notifications; exploitation requires local code execution in the affected JVM.
