Authenticated command execution via unsanitized lan.ip parameter
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
OS command injection in Tenda AC6 2.0 firmware 15.03.06.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via its web interface. The TendaTelnet handler in /bin/httpd inserts the lan.ip form value into telnetd -b %s & through doSystemCmd(), which invokes system without sanitization. A valid web-management session is required, and injected shell metacharacters run arbitrary commands with the router's httpd privileges.
