CVE-2026-82480Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated unspecified impact via message-length underflow

Published Aug 30, 2026 · Updated Aug 30, 2026

Integer underflow in NASA cFS 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to cause unspecified impact through crafted Software Bus messages. CFE_SB_GetUserDataLength subtracts the manipulated HdrSize from TotalMsgSize without first proving that the header is no larger than the complete message, causing the unsigned result to wrap. Low privileges and no user interaction are required, but neither the CNA nor NASA has published the operation reached with the wrapped length or a more specific consequence.
