Cleartext password storage in Rust IoT Platform through commit 5df942ab allows remote attackers to read all account credentials via APIs. UserBiz create and update operations write supplied passwords directly to the users table, while retrieval and listing routes return User records containing that field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is limited to disclosure of stored credentials.
