Switch command execution via exposed internal service ports
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Improper access control in Brocade SANnav before 3.0.1a allows local users to execute commands on connected Fabric OS switches. Internal service ports accept direct connections from non-administrative host users and process requests under the SANnav management user's security context. A local account on the SANnav Linux host is required; successful exploitation can alter managed switch configuration and disrupt the storage fabric.
