CVE-2026-82283Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-user conversation access via unchecked identifiers

Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

Authorization bypass in VoltAgent through 2.1.20 allows remote authenticated users to access other users’ conversations by ID. Memory API handlers use caller-controlled conversation and user identifiers for lookup, update, and deletion without comparing the resource owner to the authenticated principal. With authentication enabled, any account can read, alter, or delete another user’s conversation data; the default unauthenticated configuration exposes the same operations without credentials.
