Team takeover via unchecked management endpoints
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Missing authorization in HyperDX 1.10.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to perform team administration through HTTP requests. The team router passes authenticated team IDs directly to API-key rotation, team-name update, and member-deletion controllers without an owner or role check. Any team member session is sufficient to remove owners, invalidate integrations by rotating the shared key, and alter the team name.
