Unauthenticated file read via unrestricted document path
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Path traversal in Alibaba Cloud Qwen-Agent 0.0.34 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files through its Gradio interface. SimpleDocParser passes the caller-supplied url value to get_file_type and parse_txt without confining the resolved path to its workspace. Network access to the unauthenticated database_server endpoint is sufficient, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the server process.
