Link following in gitoxide gix-worktree-state before 0.33.0 allows remote attackers to overwrite files outside a Windows worktree. During incremental checkout, checkout() skips a terminal-component collision check and opens a regular-file path through an existing reparse point. Exploitation requires user interaction, core.symlinks enabled, and a downstream application using the non-empty-destination library path; shipped CLI call sites are not reachable.
