Cross-application resource injection via unchecked destination workspace
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Budibase Server before 3.41.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject resources into other applications. The duplicateResourceToWorkspace controller accepts toWorkspace from the request body and bulk-writes the destination database without checking caller rights or tenant ownership. Builder access to one application and a valid destination workspace ID are required; injected automations can send victim-application data through outgoing webhooks.
