CVE-2026-82191Network attack vector

Parameter smuggling via unescaped PayPal notify redirect

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Parameter injection in J2Store allows remote attackers to smuggle query parameters through a PayPal notify redirect after a crafted link is loaded. The PayPal notify endpoint copies unescaped request data into the Location URL for com_j2store's checkout controller instead of retaining only the intended fixed parameters. A victim or automated fetcher must load the crafted link, and the redirect alone grants no capability beyond requesting the resulting J2Store URL directly.
