Unauthenticated session enumeration via unchecked RMI request
Published May 10, 2026 · Updated May 10, 2026
Improper authentication in Canias ERP 8.03 allows remote attackers to enumerate active sessions through the RMI interface's doAction method. The method accepts an unauthenticated iasGetUserListEvent request without a session ID or credentials and returns active-session identifiers and user metadata. Network access to the configurable RMI port is sufficient; the disclosed usernames, client types, login times, and client IP addresses can enable a separate session-hijack flaw.
