Path traversal in Houtini LM 2.13.0 through 2.13.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary local files via code_task_files. The tool rejects relative paths but accepts any absolute path accessible to the server process and sends each file's contents to the configured LLM endpoint. Exploitation requires an MCP caller or prompt-injection path to invoke the tool; a remote provider receives the disclosed local data.
