CVE-2026-82090Public exploitNetwork attack vector

JavaScript execution via unsanitized article HTML

Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

DOM-based XSS in Mozilla Pocket for Android 8.33.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through saved content. articleview-mobile.js passes externally sourced article HTML to jQuery's $(document.body).html(content) sink without sanitization, so scripts run inside the application's WebView. After a victim saves an attacker-controlled page, the background DownloadingService renders it without further interaction, and the script can invoke exposed native bridge methods to read or alter application state.
