Null pointer dereference in MongoDB Server 8.3.0 through 8.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to crash mongod via crafted GeoJSON. Inconsistent geometry parsing leaves an internal object partially initialized, and 2dsphere index key generation dereferences its null member. Write access to a collection with a 2dsphere index is required; successful exploitation terminates the database process.
