Uncontrolled resource consumption in Adobe Acrobat and Reader 26.002.21900 and earlier allows attackers to cause application denial-of-service. Malicious-file processing consumes system resources without an enforced bound; Adobe has not identified the parser or PDF structure involved. Acrobat 2024 24.001.30383 and earlier is also affected; exploitation requires opening the crafted file and only interrupts the application.
