Incorrect authorization in Adobe Acrobat and Reader allows attackers to write arbitrary file-system data when a malicious PDF is opened. Adobe has not published the affected component or the failed authorization operation that permits the write. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file and no prior privileges; the published impact is limited to arbitrary file-system writes.
