Administrator-triggered service interruption via stack overflow
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Stack overflow in the PLANET IGS-5225-8P2T4S web server allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The web server copies administrator-controlled request data into a stack buffer without sufficient bounds checking, allowing the buffer to overflow. Administrator-level access is required; exploitation can crash the service, while arbitrary code execution on the embedded operating system remains possible but unverified.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
