Root command execution via unfiltered system input
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
OS command injection in PLANET IGS-5225-8P2T4S V1/V2 before 1.2412b260707 and 2.2412b260519 allows remote authenticated users to gain root access. The web server passes user-supplied input to system() without sufficient filtering, so shell metacharacters reach the underlying operating system. Access to the authenticated management interface is required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands as root.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
