Authenticated command execution via unchecked MCP subprocess
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
OS command injection in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.11.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on the server. The MCP Tools component accepts a flow-supplied local stdio command and starts it as a subprocess without enforcing the custom-component or code-interpreter execution blocks. Any non-administrative account that can construct and run a flow can execute with the Langflow process's privileges, exposing its environment, files, and reachable services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
