Authenticated SSRF via unsanitized invoice notes
Published May 9, 2026 · Updated May 9, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Akaunting 3.1.21 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request attacker-chosen URLs. Invoice notes accept unsanitized HTML, and the PDF renderer passes it to Dompdf while config/dompdf.php enables remote HTTP and HTTPS resources. Low-privilege access and invoice PDF rendering are required; embedded resource URLs can reach services available from the server.
