Process denial of service via unchecked PageCount
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Resource exhaustion in radare2 before 6.2.0 allows context-dependent attackers to interrupt the process via a crafted Windows crash dump. The dmp64 parser uses an input-controlled physical-memory-run PageCount as a per-page allocation-loop bound without checking it against the dump size. Exploitation requires the dump to be opened, after which repeated descriptor allocations consume excessive memory and processing time without a reported confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
