Script execution via hardcoded CSP nonce

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

CSP bypass in Ash Framework AshAdmin 0.10.8 through 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to run inline scripts via a known nonce. AshAdmin.Router.ash_admin/2 defaults all CSP nonce types to the constant ash_admin-Ed55GFnX, and AshAdmin.Layouts copies it into inline style and script tags on every response. Exploitation requires an application to allow-list that default and a separate HTML-injection sink on an admin page; the bypass enables script execution in an administrator's browser.
