Unauthenticated credential disclosure via paused dashboard tokens

Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026

Information disclosure in Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise allows remote attackers with paused public-dashboard links to read data source settings. Pausing a shared dashboard leaves its access token valid for frontend bootstrap endpoints, which return data source configuration and, for browser-access data sources, stored credentials. Exploitation requires a previously issued link to a paused dashboard; deleting the shared dashboard revokes the token.
