Authenticated data disclosure via external XML entities
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
XXE in the SAP Adapter in IBM App Connect Enterprise and Integration Bus for z/OS allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. The adapter's XML parser resolves attacker-controlled external entity references instead of restricting them to the intended XML content. A valid low-privilege account and a deployed SAP Adapter path are required, and the reported consequence is disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
