Path validation in OpenVPN 2.4.0 through 2.6.22 on Windows allows local users to bypass trusted configuration-directory controls. The interactive service accepts a configuration path that its directory-containment validation does not correctly constrain. A low-privileged local account and passive user interaction are required; successful exploitation permits unauthorized configuration changes with high-integrity effects.
