Unsafe class loading in Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver before 2.2.2 allows attackers to execute code through JDBC connection URL parameters. The driver uses parameter values to select and instantiate arbitrary classes from the application's classpath without restricting them to expected implementations. Exploitation requires control over the connection URL and a suitable class on the classpath, and code runs with the application's JVM privileges.
