Subscriber disclosure via unchecked RSVP AJAX handler
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Missing authorization in the RSVP AJAX handler in MagePeople WPEvently 5.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read RSVP data. The handler accepts the nonce issued to the public RSVP form without checking the caller's capability, then returns every stored submission. A Subscriber account is sufficient, exposing names, email addresses, and phone numbers without enabling modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
