CVE-2026-81753Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Stored JavaScript execution via unescaped Mermaid note markup

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Stored XSS in Flowintel 3.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through Mermaid case-note content. The Markdown renderer wraps persisted Mermaid tokens as HTML without first escaping attacker-controlled markup, so the payload runs when another user opens the note. Creating or editing a note requires an account with write permission, and exploitation depends on a different user viewing the affected case note.
