CVE-2026-8173Network attack vector

MAC-address disclosure via web-exposed syslog error

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026

Information disclosure in Murrelektronik Xelity firmware 2.1.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve learned MAC addresses over the web interface. The Copy learned MAC Addresses action writes learned addresses into a server-side syslog error that the web GUI exposes without authentication. An authenticated administrator must invoke the action at least once; the disclosure reveals devices active or recently active on switch ports.
