Reflected XSS via unescaped validation-error fields
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Reflected XSS in WPKube Simple Basic Contact Form through 20250114 allows remote attackers to execute script in site visitors' browsers. On validation errors, the contact-form renderer inserts submitted field values into HTML attributes without output escaping. No account is required; exploitation requires a published page containing the shortcode and a victim who follows a crafted link or visits an auto-submitting cross-site form.
