Cross-tenant template disclosure via unauthorized audit lookup
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Authorization bypass in Red Hat Satellite 6 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant historical template contents. The Foreman web UI template revision endpoint accepts a caller-supplied audit ID and retrieves the audited revision without enforcing organization or location authorization. A valid low-privilege account with a template permission such as view_ptables is sufficient to expose full template bodies, including stored configuration data or secrets.
