CVE-2026-81652Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Contributor-level image metadata disclosure via IDOR

Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026

Authorization bypass in NextGEN Gallery 3.59.5 through 4.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' image metadata. The image-record lookup accepts a user-controlled image identifier and returns the matching record without checking whether the requester owns its gallery. Contributor-level access is sufficient; exposure is limited to stored EXIF fields, internal checksums, and identifiers, with no reported image-content access or modification.
