CVE-2026-81630Network attack vector

Unauthorized code execution via unsigned firmware updates

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Insufficient firmware authenticity verification in Botslab G980H firmware allows attackers to execute code through modified updates. The update path downloads firmware over an unprotected connection and trusts an integrity value delivered with the image instead of a cryptographic signature. Exploitation requires interception of a firmware download or authenticated submission of a crafted update, after which modified firmware runs on the device.
