Unauthorized data access via servlet SQL injection
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
SQL injection in IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 allows remote attackers to access data through the Load Balancer Servlet endpoint. The Load Balancer Groups component passes attacker-controlled servlet input into SQL statements without correctly neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful injection can expose data, alter database state, and interrupt the appliance service.
