Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 7, 2026
Privilege escalation in Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce 10.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The wcap_save_connector_settings AJAX action and related actions omit capability checks and nonce verification, allowing subscribers to replace SMTP settings and capture administrator recovery auto-login links. Subscriber-level access and the default-enabled auto-login feature are required; successful exploitation grants full WordPress administration.
