Cross-vendor and arbitrary post modification via unchecked IDs
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in WC Vendors Marketplace before 2.7.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify other vendors' content. The save_variations path accepts user-supplied IDs without checking ownership or object type, then saves changes against the referenced records. A vendor-role account is required; exploitation can alter other vendors' variations and the status or title of arbitrary posts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
