CVE-2026-81424Network attack vector

Product substitution via mismatched checkout identifier

Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 6, 2026

Authorization bypass in Accept Stripe Payments before 2.1.4 allows remote attackers to obtain a different product after genuine payment. During IPN processing, the checkout result trusts a referenced product identifier without confirming that it matches the product recorded by Stripe, and only checks that the paid amount covers the referenced product's price. A completed genuine payment is required; substituting an equal- or lower-priced identifier causes fulfillment of the wrong product.
