Site outage via unconstrained directory-path deletion
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Path traversal in DynamiApps Frontend Admin before 3.29.13 allows remote attackers to delete root index.php and .htaccess files. The custom upload directory setting accepts a user-controlled path and uses it to delete those files without confining deletion to the intended directory. A non-default form configuration is required, and deletion from the WordPress root can render the site inoperable.
