CVE-2026-81334

Crash and memory corruption via unchecked layer index

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Out-of-bounds access in Hank AI Darknet 6.0 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to crash the process via a crafted .cfg file. The parser uses an unchecked from or layers value to index the layer array, reading outputs beyond its allocation and later writing flags through the same attacker-controlled index. Exploitation requires the application to parse the supplied configuration file; parsing alone triggers a reliable crash and an offset-controlled, fixed-value out-of-bounds write before any weights file is opened.
