Unauthenticated database disclosure via ORDER BY injection
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
SQL injection in zyx0814 FilePress 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the Shares filelist API. The filelist handlers in dzz/shares/ajax.php and dzz/shares/admin.php concatenate the order parameter into an ORDER BY clause after inadequate allowlist validation. No authentication is required; attackers can use a timing oracle to extract arbitrary database values, including administrator password hashes.
