CVE-2026-81320

TLS private-key disclosure via Route JSON logging

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Secret disclosure in Red Hat build of Apache Camel - HawtIO 4 allows remote authenticated users to read a Route TLS key from operator logs. At debug level 1 or higher, hawtio-operator serializes the complete custom Route object to JSON on standard output without redacting its PEM private key. The condition requires a custom Route TLS secret and pods/log access in the operator namespace, exposing the key to authorized log readers and downstream log stores.
