Physical code execution via unverified removable-media script
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Arbitrary code execution in CareCam CM2507 Firmware v251211.1507 allows physically proximate attackers to run code from removable media. The camera automatically executes a predetermined script from inserted removable media without authenticating the script or verifying its integrity. Physical access is required, and injected code runs in the affected device's security context, enabling compromise of its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
