Unauthenticated information disclosure via unchecked search results
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Information disclosure in Apache Allura 1.20.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to view non-public project metadata in search results. The search_app result filter returned indexed Project documents without resolving each live project and enforcing its read permission, while unknown non-artifact types passed unchecked. An anonymous search request is sufficient; available evidence establishes exposure of project metadata but not repository contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
