Stored XSS via unvalidated carousel button HTML
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Stored XSS in Slick UI in Drupal Slick Carousel before 2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via option sets. The option-set form accepts HTML for previous and next carousel buttons without sufficient validation before storing and rendering it. Administrative access to Slick UI is required, and the script runs in a visitor's browser when the affected carousel is viewed, allowing data access or page actions in that visitor's session.
