Unauthenticated information disclosure via missing collection access controls
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Drupal Entity API before 1.8.0 allows remote attackers to read non-public data through JSON:API collections. The module fails to apply entity collection access controls when JSON:API handles collection endpoints. Anonymous access is sufficient, but both the Entity API and JSON:API modules must be enabled; the flaw does not alter data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
