Contributor-level script execution via unescaped gallery settings
Published Oct 11, 2026 · Updated Oct 11, 2026
Stored XSS in RoboSoft Robo Gallery before 5.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via gallery settings. The gallery edit screen outputs stored settings without sufficient sanitization and escaping, treating attacker-controlled values as executable content. Contributor-level access or higher is required to store the payload, which executes in an administrator's browser context when the administrator opens the gallery for editing.
