Authenticated command execution via heartbeat shell interpolation
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
OS command injection in MiniClaw through 223c16a1088e138838dcbd18cd65a37c35ac5a84 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The executeCognitivePulse function in src/kernel.ts interpolates HEARTBEAT.md content into a child_process.exec shell string while escaping only double quotes. Exploitation requires write access to HEARTBEAT.md and heartbeat-task execution, after which injected commands run with the application process privileges.
