Physical code execution via unchecked downloads
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Code-integrity failure in Dell ThinOS 10 before 2605_10.2616 allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary code. Dell has not published which ThinOS download or update locus accepts code without verifying its integrity, nor the trusted value that is omitted. Exploitation requires unauthenticated physical access to the device and yields arbitrary code execution on the thin client.
